This work is the an extension of a previous work made in 2022, wooden sculpture Waiting. The sculpture was made from found pallets destined to be thrown out after the city began to rebuild. After touring the sculpture around disaster effected areas of Australia, it was time to let go. Burning it in a ceremony surrounded by friends and family the moment became both a start and an end point.
